Rally Day!

Come celebrate the kick off to our new program year this Sunday. The celebration begins with our 10am worship service. Then be sure to stick around and hop over to Fellowship Hall where we’ll have extra tasty goodies and lots of displays by different committees ready to share all the fresh ways you can get involved at FOPC! 

Ordination Sunday

Senior High Mission Trip 2027

Save the Date! The 2027 Senior High Mission Trip (SHMT) is heading to Charleston, SC, July 16-23! The annual service trip is a highlight for the church’s senior high youth. Nearly 40 youth and adult leaders served on the recent mission trip in Duluth, MN.

2026 Fair Oaks Water Well in The Gambia

Construction of the 2026 “Fair Oaks Water Well” in The Gambia is now complete. Located in the village of Kalagi Masaneh Kunda, this climate-resilient water infrastructure provides a safe and reliable source of freshwater for the community. Kalagi is an impoverished rural village and is home to approx. 300 people that are primarily engaged in subsistence farming and herding. Previously, the community sourced its water from two hand-dug, open wells which were a constant source of waterborne illness and became badly depleted during the annual six-month…

The Compassionate Listening Project Workshop

Is there tension in your family? Subjects that are off limits at holiday gatherings? Conflicts at work you don’t know how to navigate? Join us Sat., Oct. 3, for a day-long workshop with The Compassionate Listening Project. 

Logos Wednesday Nights (1st-12th grade)

Registration is open for Logos Wednesday Nights starting on Sept. 23. Logos is the weekly intergenerational experience where adults and children in grades 1 – 12 build relationships with one another and with God. Logos begins in late Sept. and runs through late March. 1st-5th grades: 4-6:15 pm 6th-8th grades: 4:30-6:30 pm 9th-12th grades: 6-8 pm

Mahjong

Fair Oaks is pleased to offer open Mahjong play every Tuesday, from 10 am to noon, in Fellowship Hall. No RSVP needed. Beginners welcome! Any questions, contact the office.

Communion Volunteers

Fair Oaks needs preparers for its monthly celebration of communion. While only ordained members can serve communion, anyone can help prepare the elements for communion. Please consider helping with this important part of our worship service.
