Fair Oaks hosts Learning Edge Tutoring on Monday nights from late September through late May, holidays excluded. Learning Edge provides free one-to-one tutoring for students who primarily live in the Austin neighborhood. It’s a special program that aims to make a positive impact in students’ lives, and many student-tutor pairs form strong, rewarding relationships. Tutors are matched with a student (grades K through 8) and meet with them weekly for 90 minutes from 6:30-8 pm. Student-tutor pairs work together on…

Book Group generally meets at 7 pm on the fourth Tuesday of each month during the program year. The group selects both fiction and non-fiction works that aspire to offer insights into our faith and meets in homes to allow for more relaxed fellowship.
