Mid High End-of-Year Party

The final Mid High Youth Group for the program year is this Sun., May 5, from 5-6:30 pm at the church. We will celebrate with an end-of-year party, and dinner will be provided!

FOPC Membership Directory Photos

We plan to update and publish our FOPC Membership Directory to coincide with our 100th program year!  Anette or Ed Nam will be taking family photos on Mother’s Day (5/12) and Celebration Sunday (6/2) after worship.  Families can also submit their own family photo, if preferred to the office. Please make sure your family’s info is updated in Realm – as it is our ‘hub’ that organizes this information.

CROP Walk

The annual Crop Walk will be held on Sun., May 5, starting at 2 pm. The three-mile loop will kick off at Pilgrim Congregational Church, with a one-mile, short-cut option. Families, kids, friend groups and pets are welcome.  Of funds raised, 25% will go to local hunger-fighting organizations and 75% will support Church World Service feeding people around the world.  To register to walk, or to make a donation, click here.

Thursday Morning Bible Study

The group is reading Women Talking by Miriam Toews. Here’s the discussion schedule. Copies of the book are available at the front desk of the main branch of the Oak Park Public Library under “Fair Oaks Presbyterian—Thursday Morning”. If you are looking for a group to join for study and build new relationships in person during the day, this is the group for you! Our weekly class meets Thursday mornings from 9:30-10:30 in the parlor or on the patio weather permitting.

The main part of the service we’d like covered is the Offertory but the Anthem slot will be available as well. A sign-up form with available dates can be accessed here. If you’d…
