Recording
In 2009 the senior high bell choir created a recording – it was a wonderful experience and a CD exists of some fun Christmas music. Ten years later, we felt it was time to record again and this time, all the bell choirs were involved: Intermission Bells (middle school choir), Encore Bells (high school choir) and the Fair Oaks Ringers (adult choir). Because times have changed so much in the last ten years we’re offering these songs for you to download here instead of printing CDs.
Defraying Costs
Rather than produce and sell copies of a CD, we are posting the recording on our web site for all to listen to and download. We’re asking members (and fans) for a donation of any sort so that the handbells can be refurbished sometime soon. With three choirs using them every week during the church year they weather a lot of wear and tear. Please consider a targeted gift to help defray these costs.
To correctly direct your online donation, please click the Donate Now button, select “Other” in the donations list, then put “Handbell Recording” in the memo/comments field.
If you prefer, a check can be mailed to the church or deposited in the offering tray at regular Sunday services. Please indicate “Handbell Recording” in the memo field of your check.
If you wish to have a physical CD to play in place of the download please let Linda Van Dyke know at lvd1313@gmail.com and she will get one for you.
