Cluster Tutoring at FOPC will be held on Monday evenings from 6:30-8:00. If you are interested in participating as a tutor, please plan to attend the new volunteer orientation on Thursday, September 16, beginning at 6:30 pm in the First United Church of Oak Park’s sanctuary (848 Lake Street). Parking is available at the back of the church and you can enter through the back doors.
Kara Kalnitz, the executive director of Cluster Tutoring, will give an overview of the program and answer any questions prospective tutors may have. Orientation typically lasts 1.5 to 2 hours as the Reading Specialist will be there as well to discuss activities that tutors can do with their students.
