Know Your Rights Training

Oak Park River Forest Rapid Response is offering Know Your Rights trainings throughout our area at local congregations in preparation for increased ICE/CBP presence this spring.  The goal of these trainings is to give community members an overview of their rights as it pertains to interactions with immigration agents. Learning Edge Tutoring

Fair Oaks hosts Learning Edge Tutoring on Monday nights from late September through late May, holidays excluded. Learning Edge provides free one-to-one tutoring for students who primarily live in the Austin neighborhood. It’s a special program that aims to make a positive impact in students’ lives, and many student-tutor pairs form strong, rewarding relationships.
