Our ministry to children and youth is central to the life of Fair Oaks church. We see it as our responsibility, with God’s grace, to nurture our children into a lifelong relationship with God and God’s church.

Recognizing the different needs and interests of each age group, we provide many and varied programs.

	Infants - Age 4
		Nursery - Children under 3 are welcome in the nursery during Sunday School and worship on Sunday mornings (8:15– 12:00). The nursery is also open during almost all church-sponsored adult activities and during Logos.
		Sunday School - During Sunday School time (9:40 – 10:40), 3-4 year olds learn Bible stories and make crafts. At 10:25 they sing together, then have playtime during the worship hour.
		Vacation Bible School - Ages 3 through 10 are invited to a weeklong adventure of learning and fun each summer.
	Kindergarten - Grade 5
		Discipleville - Discipleville is our Sunday School program for kindergarten through 5th grade. Using the rotational model of teaching, children move with their grade level through a series of activities and learning opportunities.
		Bridges to Worship - Bridges to Worship helps children learn about and prepare for participation in worship. Children in kindergarten through 1st grade may leave the sanctuary after the Children’s Sermon and share a time of child-oriented worship, Bible stories and crafts.
		Logos - Our mid-week program of learning, music, food, and fun welcomes children from 1st grade through high school. Children in grades 1 – 5 (Act I) meet by grade level until dinnertime, then share dinner and game time with the entire Act I group.
		Vacation Bible School - Children ages 3 through 10 are invited to a weeklong adventure of learning and fun each summer.
	Grades 6-8 (Mid High)
		Sunday School - Mid Highs meet for Sunday School (9:40 – 10:40) to delve more deeply into Bible stories learned in the past and to relate the meanings to everyday life.
		Mid High Youth Group - Mid Highs meet twice each month for fellowship time at the church and for outings. There are two annual retreats and several group service projects.
		Logos - Our mid-week evening of learning, music, food and fun has a special program for 6 – 8 graders – Intermission.
	Grades 9-12 (Senior High)

		Senior High Youth Group - Senior Highs meet most Sunday evenings for church time or for outings. There are two annual retreats and the annual Senior High mission trip – the highlight of the year!
		Logos - This mid-week evening of fellowship, Bible study, food and fun is called Encore for the Senior Highs.
