Senior High

Senior High

Senior High Youth Group is for students in 9th-12th grade and focuses on creating space for students to be themselves, be known, be honest, and be heard. The transition from childhood to adulthood is an important time in our faith journey for making lifelong spiritual, emotional, and personal connections, and Fair Oaks values the presence and participation of teenagers exactly as they are without pressure to excel or succeed or be perfect. Come as you are! Here’s the calendar of spring activities.

LOGOS

LOGOS for Senior Highs is Wednesday evenings from 6:00-8:00 p.m. from September through March. We have bell choir, Bible study, dinner, and recreation. Registration is required, but there are some guest nights if you want to try it out!

Confirmation Class

Confirmation Class is designed to help students make a decision regarding whether or not they want to join the church for themselves. Is this their church or just their parent’s church? We explore what it means to be a Christian, a Presbyterian and a member of Fair Oaks, and we answer all the questions we can to help students make the next step in their own faith journey with integrity. The class is offered in the spring semester, typically to 9th grade students, but anyone who is curious is welcome.

Senior High Mission Trip

The Senior High Mission Trip is the most anticipated week of the year for many of our students. We travel to a different part of the country each year and spend a week building relationships, learning about a new community, and volunteering our time. Senior High Mission Trip 2024: July 19-26 in Pensacola, Florida. The trip will focus on environmental justice. If you would like to go on the trip but haven’t registered yet, contact Jaden (jaden@fairoakspres.org).
